The summit aims to cover a host of subject areas to boost career confidence.
Taking place on 22 April at London's prestigious County Hall, the Self Made Summit will feature talks, panel discussions, speed mentoring sessions and interactive networking opportunities with self-made entrepreneurs such as Laura Jackson and Alice Levine, founders of food and lifestyle brand, Jackson & Levine, British Labour politician, Stella Creasy, fashion and beauty vlogger, Louise Pentland, and founder of Ciat é, Charlotte Knight, the publisher says.

The summit aims to cover a host of subject areas to boost career confidence including finance, social media expertise, business management, networking and presentation techniques.

Cosmopolitan and Very.co.uk will also give attendees the opportunity to win a workspace in Second Home, one of London's most inspiring creative hubs and cultural venues. Second Homes' community includes businesses such as TaskRabbit, Artsy and Threads, and individuals like Marina Willer of Pentagram.

Georgina Holt, Publisher of Cosmopolitan, says: "Cosmopolitan's audience is full of smart, ambitious, business-minded young women, and we wanted to launch an event to equip them with the necessary tools, tips and insights they need to succeed. We are delighted to partner with Very.co.uk to bring this event to life."

Kenyatte Nelson, Group Marketing Director at Very.co.uk, says: "We want to inspire women to get more out of every day, and this event will enable just that. By partnering with Cosmopolitan we can reach a new generation of ambitious women to equip them with the skills and advice they need to get more out of their career."
