Cosmopolitan launches The Cosmo Body Show

Cosmopolitan yesterday launched The Cosmo Body Show on TV.

The health and fitness programme, which debuted on Tuesday 13th January at 10pm on Sky’s FAB TV (channel 254), is Cosmopolitan’s first ever TV series in the UK and follows the success of Cosmopolitan Body, Cosmopolitan’s health and fitness magazine and online offering.

According to the publishers, the show covers everything women need to know to feel inspired to lead healthier and happier lives, speaking to experts and body confidence champions from athletes, to women who have overcome eating disorders and models who have made a career out of not being size zero. The show includes:

* Workouts that work – Celebrity personal trainers such as Svava Sigbertsdotti, Jess Schuring, Joe Wicks and Alchemist Life, who train the likes of Nicole Scherzinger and Kate Hudson, share their top tips for getting into shape without being a slave to the gym. Every episode will also feature a fitness segment with TV star and fitness entrepreneur Lucy Mecklenburgh

* Healthy eating how-tos – renowned nutritionists and healthy chefs Madeleine Shaw, Natasha Corrett and Danielle Copperman, explain how to create meals that are as delicious as they are nutritious

* Chic fitness fashion – Advice on choosing the right gym kit, swimwear and trainers for your shape and size

* Beauty tips and tricks – Cosmopolitan’s Beauty team chat all things beauty, from the natural beauty products lurking in the kitchen cupboard to the must-have gym bag beauty essentials

The content will also be split into relevant videos for online streaming at www.Cosmopolitan.co.uk and will offer clients an extensive range of advertising opportunities.
