DMGT appoints Group Chief Technology Officer

Rob Chandhok

In this new role, Chandhok will help to shape DMGT’s technology strategy at Group level, developing a clear technical vision, consulting with the Group’s Operating Companies on the opportunities provided by new and emerging technologies and supporting each business in reaching its technology objectives.

Chandhok will report directly to DMGT CEO, Paul Zwillenberg, and will split his time between his base in California and working on site with DMGT’s businesses.

Paul Zwillenberg said: “Technology forms an important part of DMGT’s Group-wide Performance Improvement Programme and is essential to realising the Group’s Intelligent Insights. Consumer Connections strategic vision. Appointing a leader of Rob’s calibre and experience will help us embrace the opportunities presented by machine learning, predictive analytics, cloud connectivity and other technologies.”

Chandhok has more than 20 years’ experience in senior commercial technology and internet services roles. Most recently he served as Chief R&D Officer at LeEco, a global consumer electronics business and previously worked in a series of senior leadership roles at Qualcomm where he led new technology initiatives and managed relationships with the world’s largest software companies.
