Future Launches New Music Hub, Louder

Together we’re Louder...

In a statement on its website, Future said: Louder is an example of our further investment in music, a vertical full of passionate fans in a vibrant industry. We have an opportunity to be at the heart of that community.

We’ve migrated the former TeamRock site to our in-house platform, with each individual brand living under their own channel on the website. Building on an existing fan base of 1.8m unique monthly users, Louder will be the online home of Classic Rock, Metal Hammer, Prog and The Blues, and will now cover guitar-led music of all kinds – punk rock, alt.rock, hard rock, heavy metal, prog, blues, rock’n’roll and everything in-between. What to listen to, what to buy, who to see – Louder will feature everything you need to know about the world’s loudest music.

Louder will be the destination site for latest music news, interviews, opinion pieces, new band profiles and more, opening up the website to more partnerships, creative solutions and influencer opportunities. Louder also seeks to offer greater connectivity with music fans, giving our highly engaged and passionate audience the chance to contribute through polls, social media groups and networked reporting. Louder realises that the audience knows as much as we do – and together we’re Louder.

Expect new verticals, a ticketing platform, and a broader music policy. Future’s proprietary eCommerce platform Hawk, meanwhile, will be built into the site to monetise content. Hawk locates the very best prices through trusted retailers in real-time, giving users easy access to the best deals on everything from value headphones to high-end speakers.

Alongside the new look and easier navigation, readers can expect greater focus on buying guides and ‘how tos’, delivered with the same passion and expert knowledge that has made our magazines and websites world-renowned.

It’s an exciting time for Future’s music titles. Together we’re Louder.
