Hearst Magazines UK appoints new Publisher for Cosmopolitan

Hearst Magazines UK, the publisher of Good Housekeeping, Cosmopolitan, Harper's Bazaar and ELLE, has appointed Georgina Holt to the position of Publisher for Cosmopolitan.

Georgina Holt: "Joining Cosmopolitan during such an exciting time for the brand is a huge deal for me.”

Georgina re-joined Hearst in July 2015 as Commercial Strategy Director, and has played an integral role in driving Cosmopolitan commercial partnerships with brands including Estée Lauder and Rimmel. She has over 15 years of industry experience having previously held positions including Head of Strategy at Telegraph Media Group, Head of Creative & Partnerships at Storm Digital - Clear Channel, and Group Advertising Director at Hearst, the publisher says.

The appointment follows the announcement of Duncan Chater as Chief Revenue Officer in September this year. Georgina starts her role with immediate effect and will report directly into Duncan.

Georgina has played a key role as Commercial Strategy Director in developing our offering for brands and agencies, and has the perfect skill set to continue developing the innovative strategy on Cosmopolitan, which is out-performing our expectations across every platform."
