Metro partners with Fox TV to deliver translucent cover wrap

Grant Woodthorpe: "There’s nothing we love doing more ... than delivering high impact, innovative print solutions which guarantee maximum standout for advertisers."

The standout ad format has been specially designed to create a buzz around the first European commission, Deep State – an eight-part espionage thriller series launching at 9pm on Fox TV tonight. The mysteriously-engaging cover wrap features the thriller’s big stars, Mark Strong, Joe Dempsie, Karima Adebibe and Alistair Petrie, as a teaser into the world of Deep State. Destined to grab the attention of morning commuters in the capital, say the publishers, the campaign includes a translucent two-page ad within today’s issue of the Metro too. The activity makes up part of a cross-platform campaign running across TV, out-of-home media, digital and social channels.

Grant Woodthorpe, Executive Director – Investment at Mail Metro Media said: “There’s nothing we love doing more with Metro newspaper than delivering high impact, innovative print solutions which guarantee maximum standout for advertisers. The use of special translucent paper laid over corresponding newsprint provides a unique and ideal opportunity to promote this exciting new series to our young valuable audience.”

Amber Sutera, Director of Marketing – Fox Networks Group UK said: “An innovative and disruptive show needs innovative and disruptive marketing. Fox is a premium channel and we value this type of creative engagement with our show brands.”

This solus print activity with Mail Metro Media was designed by Fox Networks Group and brokered by Mindshare.
