Jonny Gordon-Farleigh: "The digital access will prove to be an invaluable resource to our subscribers."
STIR was first published in 2013 and explores new economic and political theory, exploring community-ownership, co-operatives and alternatives to the current political-economic status quo. Published by the community organisation group, Stir to Action, STIR aims to reach an even broader audience of people around the world with its new digital platform.
Partnering with Exact Editions, STIR has introduced an online subscription package for individuals and institutions alike. Digital subscribers will be able to access the complete archive of back issues from the first issue in 2013, as well as each new issue of the magazine, on a range of digital platforms including web, iOS and Android apps.
Subscribers, whether an individual or an academic institution, will be able to instantly search a wealth of material with Exact Editions advanced search engine. Full IP authenticated access is available for the complete archive so that each article of every issue can be browsed with unlimited usage.
Jonny Gordon-Farleigh, Director at Stir to Action, said about their digital launch: “At STIR we are excited to be launching our digital edition with full archive. The digital access will prove to be an invaluable resource to our subscribers, and will help us reach a new audience of institutions and enthusiasts around the world.”
Daryl Rayner, Managing Director of Exact Editions said: “Exact Editions are delighted to be working with STIR to ensure that they reach a wide and expanding audience with their new digital edition. The magazine archive is a fascinating resource which our individual and institutional subscribers will delight in exploring.”
