Salary: £20-23k (depending on experience)

Creative and hands on Production Assistant required

Fast growing indie B2B publisher, Edify Digital Media, is looking for a production professional to join its expanding team to work across its international print, online and digital products.

With an increasing company focus on online and digital including video and audio, the role presents an opportunity to broaden or improve existing production skills.

You are a production professional with knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat Professional with skills in print and online.

You are capable of using a contact management system to view advertising campaigns and contact details of customers and comfortable to copy chase- liaising with advertisers (located globally) by email and sometimes phone.

You have experience of digital magazine production, both page-turner and App formats.

You are capable of website ad server campaign management including production of online advertising and statistical reporting.

You are able to create and design in-house promotional material such as full pages adverts, online adverts, event programmes, e-tickets etc.

You are happy to prepare and upload content to websites and carry out other production related duties when requested.

You are a self-motivated individual, happy to work alone and as part of a small team.

You can be based anywhere as we support remote working. You will report to the Production Manager.

The ideal candidate would have a good knowledge of print and online advert production as well as design experience from a media, publishing or advertising agency background. A sound understanding of print processes and techniques is ideally required.

Confident, up-to-date and practical understanding of Adobe Creative software, particularly InDesign, Acrobat Professional & Photoshop. Knowledge of CMS eg. Salesforce would be a bonus but not essential.

The ability to take direction while being part of a small team, be well organised, prioritise workload and manage your own time effectively is key in this post - qualities especially important when working as a remote team member.

A keen eye for detail and consistency with a good command of the English language. The ability to proof-read artwork and spot potential errors.

Must have the ability to remain calm when working towards deadlines, remain focussed and work methodically to see the job through to completion while maintain high standards.

Good administration and record keeping skills.

Whilst this role involves working across a variety of formats including print, some experience of video and podcast editing would be an advantage.
