Carly’s SEO career started at the Daily Mail over 15 year ago, working with editors to integrate SEO best practices into newsrooms workflows. She spent 3 years in Canada, working across the Postmedia brands before dipping her toes into the agency world at digital marketing company Reshift Media in Toronto.
On returning to the UK, she led audience development at City AM before moving to The Sun to join the team in London and oversee the expansion of the-sun.com SEO department in NY. Carly is co-chair of the AOP Audience Development steering group and in March 2023, after 6.5 years at News UK, she returned to where it all started, as Global Head of SEO at MailOnline.
