Jon Barrett

Jon is an engineering editor, publisher and technology innovator with a career spanning robotics, manufacturing and global technical media.

Beginning as a design engineer in automation, he transitioned into publishing with titles including Eureka, Electronics Manufacturing Products and Electronic Sourcing.

He founded Pure Labs, developing what the company says was the world’s first browser-based magazine management system.

Jon is also the founder of the Sustainable Engineering Alliance and SE Magazine. An award- winning writer, he is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and an advocate for sustainable engineering.
