Lynda Newland

Lynda is the deputy managing director at Puzzler Media (a DC Thomson business).

She has been with Puzzler since 2012 and has over 30 years of publishing expertise working on an eclectic range of magazines including Viz, Gardens Illustrated, Fortean Times, The Wisden Cricketer and The Oldie.

A lifelong lover of magazines, Lynda grew up reading mostly DC Thomson titles as a child. If, she says, you’d have told her as a seven-year-old, she’d end up working for them, she’d never have believed it.

She loves word puzzles – Codewords being a firm favourite.
