Owen Meredith

Owen was appointed CEO of the News Media Association in 2021 and has led the organisation through a transformative period, most recently launching the Make It Fair campaign to support creators’ rights in AI.

Previously, Owen led the PPA Public Affairs team successfully campaigning to abolish sales tax on digital publications, before being appointed CEO.

He has also enjoyed a political career, leading various voluntary organisations on the centre-right of British politics, and standing as a parliamentary candidate in 2017.
