Sarah Ebner

Sarah is executive editor and head of newsletters at the Financial Times, which she joined in April 2021, after three years as the first ever head of editorial newsletters at the Telegraph. Her remit there was later expanded to include all email communications.

Sarah has been a national newspaper news reporter and feature writer, as well as a producer on BBC Newsnight, and has also been shortlisted four times at the British Press Awards.

She spent eight years at the Times, writing an education blog, School Gate, for which she won best commentary at the Online Media Awards and outstanding online commentary at the Education Journalism Awards. While at The Times, she was also an online sports editor and set up a newsletter called Times Woman.
