Mirrorfootball.co.uk teams up with Football Manager 2010

Mirrorfootball.co.uk - the Daily Mirror's standalone football website - is teaming up with the new Football Manager game to give fans a sneak preview before it goes on sale in the shops.

Mirrorfootball, along with the Daily Mirror and Daily Record newspapers, will give readers and users the chance to try out a demo of the game, providing a unique insight into Football Manager 2010 two weeks before it hits the high streets.

The so-called 'vanilla' version of the demo of the game is available exclusively on the Mirrorfootball site where gamers can begin playing the game in advance and then transfer their teams to the game proper when it is released on the 30th.

Mirrorfootball will also feature a host of exclusive blogs in the lead up to the launch.

Paul Hood (pictured), Mirror Group Head of Digital, said: "We're delighted to strike up this partnership with Football Manager 2010. Being able to provide this exclusive, advance demo of the game is a great addition to our already unique portfolio of features on the site.

"Not only do we already offer the best in daily football reporting from the top pundits in football, a huge, exclusive archive of football photos and a unique fantasy football game, but now we're giving users the opportunity to get their hands on the new FM2010 game two weeks ahead of everyone else."
