In this expanded role Matt Kelly (pictured), currently Associate Editor of the Daily Mirror, and his team will be responsible for the creation and development of the division's growing portfolio of digital sites.
He will also work closely with the advertising and marketing teams to ensure that the division maximises revenues from the Nationals digital business.

Kelly led the development of mirrorfootball.co.uk and 3am.co.uk which both launched earlier this year.
In his new role Kelly will continue to report directly to Richard Wallace, Editor of the Daily Mirror.
