Royals Unscripted invites audiences to step behind the Palace gates with exclusive stories sourced directly from Express Royal Editor Emily Ferguson’s extensive contacts. Hosted by Emily alongside Express columnist Carole Malone, new 30-minute episodes launch every Thursday at 7am on YouTube, Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
Each episode sees the hosts break down the week’s three biggest royal headlines, finishing with a dedicated segment with Royal Fashion Reporter Alicia Liberty, added the publisher. Alicia dissects the Royal Family’s latest looks, highlighting the standout outfits and showing viewers how to recreate them without the royal price tag.
The publisher says Royals Unscripted has already gathered over 5,200 subscribers ahead of its official debut.
Emily said: “I’m really excited to be hosting Royals Unscripted and sitting down with Carole each week for the sharp, candid commentary her fans know and love. Together we’ll get behind the headlines and discuss what’s really going on at the Palace and beyond. “When the appetite for royal coverage is at an all-time high, I can’t wait to bring my unique insight from the royal beat and delve deeper into the biggest stories of the week.”
James Walker, Daily Express associate editor (video), said: “We are incredibly excited to launch Royals Unscripted. Our YouTube subscribers are obsessed with the Royal Family, and with no shortage of stories to cover, we’re planning to challenge established shows very quickly.” “Video formats have proven very successful for The Express with our Daily Expresso podcast the No.1-ranked UK news podcast on YouTube in June. Royals Unscripted has just as much to offer and we hope will be just as popular with our digital audience.”
