3 Major Accolades for Condé Nast at Fashion Journalism Awards

There were 3 major accolades for Condé Nast at the 2nd annual Fashion & Beauty Monitor Journalism Awards 2014 this week.

GQ.co.uk’s Nick Carvell was named Online Fashion Journalist/Blogger of the Year and Vogue’s Fashion Editor Francesca Burns won the Stylist of the Year category.

Vogue’s Fashion Features Director Sarah Harris was Highly Commended in the Fashion Journalist of the Year, Long Lead category.

In addition, Suzy Menkes, who was recently appointed International Vogue Editor, working across all international Vogue websites, won the International Fashion Journalist of the Year award for her work at The International New York Times.

Over 1,500 nominations were received from professionals across the industry resulting in a shortlist of the highest calibre of journalist from across the fashion and beauty fields, says Condé Nast.

The Fashion & Beauty Monitor Journalism Awards were judged by an expert panel of influential figures including Hilary Alexander OBE, Anna-Marie Solowij, Imran Amed, Nik Thakker, Terry Mansfield, CBE, Maurice Mullen and Victoria Chalmers, and accolades were awarded across the media including consumer short and long lead titles, national newspapers and supplements, online, bloggers and trade press.

Condé Nast received 8 nominations in the shortlist this year.
