Allure Russia on sale now

The debut issue of Allure Russia and accompanying website has now launched.

The September issue launch cover features Russian model Natasha Poly shot by photographer Regan Cameron. In addition to the magazine and website, Allure has launched an iPad app and the 'Allure Beauty Product Finder' mobile app.

Karina Dobrotvorskaya, President of Condé Nast Russia comments: "I always wanted Allure to come out in Russia. Not just because we don't publish a beauty magazine but because Russian women have a special relationship with all things beauty-related. Here beauty is a passion, a cult and a feat all at once. I also admire the audacious and sensual design of the magazine, its electrical energy and independent position."

The Editor-in-Chief of Allure Russia, Ksenia Vagner, previously Beauty Director of Russian Tatler remarks "Modern, smart educated, energetic women who want to know all about beauty without compromise are our target audience."

Beauty makes up 40% of print advertising in Russia. "The market for perfumes and cosmetics is expanding as new brands appear, and new shops and clinics open. Advertising budgets for beauty remain higher than any other advertising category. It's hard to imagine a better time to launch a magazine devoted entirely to beauty with a potential audience of 2.5 million Russian women who are interested and willing to invest money in it," adds Victoria Boukharkina, the Publisher of Allure.

Allure, the beauty expert, is the ninth title to be published by Condé Nast Russia. Following the launch of Vogue in 1998, the portfolio now includes Glamour, GQ, GQ Style, AD, Tatler, Condé Nast Traveller and Brides.

Condé Nast International currently operates in 24 markets, publishing 122 magazines, over 75 websites and over 150 tablet and Smartphone apps under iconic brands such as Vogue, GQ, Glamour, Wired, Condé Nast Traveller, and Vanity Fair. Recent launches include Vogue in The Netherlands, Condé Nast Traveller in India and Russia, GQ in Brazil and Turkey, AD in China and India, and Glamour in Brazil.
