Carine Roitfeld unveils her first feature at Harper’s BAZAAR

Carine Roitfeld debuts her first feature as global fashion director of Harper’s BAZAAR, with a fashion portfolio spotlighting Stephanie Seymour, Joan Smalls and Lara Stone, among others.

In a magazine publishing first, Roitfeld’s feature is running concurrently in all 26 international editions of Harper’s BAZAAR’s March issue, reaching a global circulation of more than 11.3 million across 44 countries, says Hearst.

Roitfeld collaborated with Stephen Gan, creative director of Harper’s BAZAAR U.S., and conceptualized, styled, cast and produced the 16-page spread, titled “Carine on the Collections,” giving her unique take on key spring trends. The shoot took place in New York City, and was captured by up-and-coming photographer Kacper Kasprzyk.

Roitfeld, who recently completed her second global shoot for Harper’s BAZAARon location in Miami, unveiled her March feature at the Hearst Tower in New York City on Monday evening, February 4.

The spread highlights looks by Alexander Wang, Azzedine Alaïa, Balenciaga by Nicolas Ghesquière, Céline, Chanel , Christopher Kane, Comme des Garçons, Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Emporio Armani, Fendi, Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci, J.W. Anderson, Jil Sander, Louis Vuitton, Max Mara, Miu Miu, Saint Laurent by Hedi Slimane, and Tom Ford.
