Computer Arts Collection release Graphic Design Annual 2014

Computer Arts has chosen Celloglas to apply the decorative finishes to its Graphic Design Annual, choosing a fluted gold foil along with a gloss and Velvet Cellocover varnish using the Heidelberg at the Celloglas Leicester site.

The inaugural Graphic Design Annual is a stunning, 130-page celebration of the world's most exciting, engaging and forward-thinking graphic design over the last 12 months. The first in a three-part annual series, it is a sparkling showcase of the world's finest graphic design work, curated by an exclusive panel of industry experts, say the publishers.

Julia Sager, editor of Computer Arts Collection, commented, “It's been a true labour of love for everyone involved to create these stunning annuals, and to be able to showcase the very best graphic design from around the world is extremely exciting and inspiring.”

Steve Middleton, Sales Director at Celloglas, commented, “The Cellocover Velvet varnish gives the annual a smooth high-end feel, with the fluted gold foil and Cellocover gloss spot UV adding an extra depth and premium nature to the cover”.

Julia added; “The cover looks incredible, and its high-end feel and look really does the content inside justice. We wanted to give the Annual a premium, collectable feel, and the finishing on the cover has really helped us to achieve that desired effect”.
