DC Thomson appoints Brand Director to Genes Reunited

DC Thomson Family History has appointed Monisha Saldanha as Brand Director at Genes Reunited.

Monisha, formerly Head of Brand Extensions at Guardian News & Media, will join the business in March 2014.

Working closely with Chief Customer Officer, Juliet Bauer, Monisha will take overall responsibility for brand positioning. She will develop and drive the brand strategy whilst maintaining Genes Reunited’s identity as a community-based product.

Monisha brings a wealth of brand development experience to the role. She has worked with a number of national and international companies including Ebay UK and Jamie Oliver Ltd. At Guardian News & Media, she was responsible for developing new digital businesses for the brand.

Juliet Bauer said, “Monisha has a proven track record of growing profitable digital businesses and I am very confident that her skills, experience and energy will be incredibly valuable to our team.”

Monisha added, "I am delighted to be joining Genes Reunited - a digital brand that is positioned for tremendous growth.
