Digitalspy.co.uk wins at Games Media Awards 2012

Digitalspy.co.uk, showbiz, entertainment and tech website published by Hearst Magazines UK, has won two prestigious awards at this year’s Games Media Awards (GMA).

Last week, Digitalspy.co.uk won the ‘Coverage by a Mainstream Website’ award, beating stiff competition from the Huffington Post, Wired.co.uk, Maxim and Holy Moly. Games Editor Matt Reynolds also picked up a second win for Digitalspy.co.uk by being crowned the GMA Rising Star of 2012.

Voted for by a 200-strong judging panel, comprising members of the media and industry PRs, the winners were unveiled at an awards ceremony held at Vinopolis in London’s Bankside with host comedian Russell Kane.
