dmg media launches new Mail on Sunday Plus

12 July, 2013: dmg media, publishers of the Daily Mail and the Mail on Sunday, announced they are introducing a Mail on Sunday Plus edition into the Mail Plus iPad app.

The new edition, available for download on Sunday 14th July, will form part of a seven-day subscription to Mail Plus for iPad which is currently available via the App Store or simply as a single purchase.

The edition will re-format the Mail on Sunday specifically for iPad offering its readers stunning videos and pictures, more sport, interactive TV listings and 30 puzzles as well as a chance to share stories on Facebook or Twitter, say the publishers.

The Mail Plus iPad edition already has a wide array of features including:

• Automatic downloads every day by 6am GMT

• Additional sport, fashion, food and shopping

• 30 interactive puzzles every day

• Exclusive video and picture galleries

• An exclusive Gary Rhodes video recipe everyday

• Interactive graphics and 360 degree photography

• Interactive TV and radio listings with over 200 channels

Alongside Weekend magazine which is published as part of Mail Plus on Saturdays, the Sunday edition will feature the Mail on Sunday’s two magazines, You and Event.

Until now Mail Plus has run as a six-day operation, publishing editions from Monday to Saturday. The new Sunday edition will be added at no extra cost. Existing customers will simply get the Sunday edition downloaded automatically each Sunday by 6am GMT and new subscribers will not incur additional costs when they download Mail Plus.

The new, seven-day Mail Plus subscription will be priced at £9.99 per month or £2.99 per week for full access every day. Single editions of the Mail on Sunday Plus will be sold for £1.49 with all others days of Mail Plus retailing at 69p.

Pricing on Google Play and Amazon Kindle stores will be lowered from £11.99 to £9.99 for a monthly subscription and £3.99 to £2.99 for a weekly subscription to ensure consistent pricing across all platforms.

Mail Plus is available in the Apple App Store, Google Play store and Amazon Kindle Fire Newsstand. Subscriptions can also be bought directly from www.dailymailplus.co.uk
