Egmont team up with Miniclip

Egmont Publishing Group is teaming up with the leading website for kids, Miniclip, to publish The Insider’s Guide to Miniclip, a fun-filled game guide for Miniclip fans.

Later this year, Egmont will launch a jam-packed guide to Miniclip, targeted at boys 7+. Part gaming encyclopaedia and part behind the scenes guide to what it’s like to be a games developer; the book will be the must-have, complete handbook for all Miniclip fans. It will feature never-before-published cheats and codes for kids to use on the site and will be crammed with all the latest games stats and super facts such as: all-time highest scores, hot mobile games, top ten lists, plus exclusive insights into the minds of Miniclip games developers themselves!

Miniclip is the Internet’s largest games website, says Egmont, where kids can easily play online games and interact with other children. Miniclip hosts over 750 games on the site and two new games are released every week on average. Miniclip have 68m monthly unique users worldwide, with the majority of their audience aged between 5 and 17 years old. 

David Riley, Managing Director, Egmont Publishing Group said: “We are really excited about our partnership with Miniclip. This book will be the essential guide for the Miniclip fan, providing them with engrossing and rewarding content, stimulating their online experience.”

The launch will be supported with advertising on the Miniclip site as well as targeted communications to Miniclip’s user-base of millions of registered gamers. Other digital activity will include interactive competitions on Miniclip that require simultaneous online and in-book activity.
