Financial Times launches FT Jobs

The Financial Times has announced the launch of FT Jobs, a new website in the United States featuring senior career opportunities.

Available at jobs.ft.com/us, the site features both regionalised and international job opportunities for high-level executives and is a platform for FT Career Management’s digital recruitment business in the US. It aims to build on the success of exec-appointments.com, the leading job board site for C-suite and other senior roles in the UK, which the FT acquired in 2007.

The launch of FT Jobs in the US reflects the importance of the market for the Financial Times. In the last year, readership survey Business Elite USA found the FT’s premium audience grew more in both print and online than any other business title. The FT’s US audience is made up of C-suite executives, business decision makers, opinion leaders and frequent travellers. FT content is already used by America’s most senior executives to help them make better business decisions (BE USA 2011).

Steve Playford, Managing Director of FT Career Management, said: “FT Jobs will offer the Financial Times’ growing American readership access to a robust catalogue of opportunities and a network of top talent to make the most of this increasingly global marketplace”.

The Financial Times plans to roll out additional regionalised versions of the site in Asia, Middle East and Europe over the next year.
