Welcoming the decision of the Culture Select Committee to recall Rupert Murdoch following his being recorded talking to Sun journalists, Dr Evan Harris, Associate Director of Hacked Off, said: "The victims of press abuse, who Hacked Off represent, were appalled that Rupert Murdoch told Sun journalists that parts of the Leveson inquiry were over 'next to nothing'. The Committee will need to ask him whether - when he showed remorse - he was lying to them or misleading his staff at the Sun. The MPs will also want to know why his newspapers are still rejecting the findings of the Leveson Inquiry and the will of Parliament over the press regulation Royal Charter."
