Harper’s Bazaar appoints new Fashion Features Director

Harper's Bazaar has appointed one of the UK's most talented fashion writers, Avril Mair, as its new Fashion Features Director.

Avril, who replaces Kay Barron, is a former associate editor for ELLE magazine and editor of ELLE Collections, an ex editor of i-D magazine and contributing writer for numerous publications including the Telegraph. She is also the author of Fashion Now (Taschen) and has worked as a consultant at Chanel. Avril has also been twice nominated as BSME columnist.

In her new role at Harper's Bazaar, Avril will oversee all fashion features for the luxury fashion brand across print and digital. She will report into Bazaar's Editor-in-Chief, Justine Picardie. Avril joins Harper’s Bazaar on 17th December.
