IPC promotes Chris Dicker to Digital Business Director

IPC Advertising has appointed Chris Dicker to the newly created role of digital business director for IPC’s Inspire brands.

Chris (pictured) will be managing the digital sales across this portfolio, which includes NME.com, TrustedReviews.com and Mousebreaker.com.

Chris joined the agency sales team in 2006 for IPC Ignite – the previous men’s lifestyle and music group – progressing to the role of head of agency sales for the men and music brands. This newly established position extends Chris’s responsibilities to all of the Inspire titles and Chris will be heading the digital agency sales team for this sector, to develop innovative and market leading solutions for clients.

Chris will report to the head of digital advertising, Sam Finlay, who says: “I’m delighted to welcome Chris into the Central Digital Sales department. Having hired Chris when he first started his agency sales career in the old IPC Ignite back in 2006, I am very excited to be working with him again in his new role. Chris has terrific sales aptitude and a real sense of entrepreneurialism which will stand the Inspire brands in good stead as we continue to innovate and evolve our advertising offer.”

Chris adds: “I have always had a passion for digital and enjoy working across some of the most famous and cutting edge brands in UK media, so for me the opportunity to move into the award winning central digital department was too good to miss.”

Chris takes up his role with immediate effect.
