Launch: Football Life

Football Life, a new quarterly title, went on sale on 19th July.

According to distributors Seymour: “July 2012 (on sale 19th July) will see football turn over a new page - Football Life.

Launched by ex-Chelsea player of the year, Ken Monkou, the 180 page quarterly magazine focuses on the untold, human stories surrounding the world of football.

Containing candid interviews with the game’s leading players as well as various behind-the-scenes personalities, the magazine provides an exciting glimpse into Britain’s most popular sport. From the humble kitman to world famous superstars, FL offers a unique voice within football by providing an in-depth appraisal of its subject matter whilst remaining objective, honest and insightful.

Aimed at the ABC1 demographic, Football Life embraces high production values (glossy 150 gsm) and an understated sense of style, with one eye on modern eclectic fashion and aspirational lifestyles. Special emphasis is placed on page design and state-of-the-art photo shoots from some of the world’s leading photographers.

In the football magazine genre, there is not a single publication that successfully gives a 360 degree world-view of the human stories and real life personalities behind the sport’s glamorous image.
