Launch: The Walking Dead

The Walking Dead, a new quarterly title from Titan Publishing Group, goes on sale 1 November, priced £4.99.

According to distributors COMAG: “Based on the successful TV show (which itself is based on a popular comic book series), The Walking Dead has become a worldwide phenomenon and multi-award winning programme.

Taking place in and around Atlanta, Georgia, The Walking Dead centres around sheriff’s deputy, Rick Grimes, who has woken from a coma to find the world dominated by zombies, called ‘walkers’. Along with his family, Grimes and a band of survivors are trying to find a safe haven where they can live without fear of attack from the walking dead or other predators.

Well-received by audiences and critics alike, the show is a hit around the world and continues to grow in popularity. Consistently breaking cable TV viewing figures, the season three premiere of The Walking Dead was watched by almost 11 million viewers in the U.S. recently.

Launched to coincide with the British premiere of the third series on the FX TV channel, The Walking Dead magazine is a fully-licensed and timely addition for UK fans of the hit show.
