Lisa said: “Over the past few months I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the talented and enthusiastic team in Barnstaple.
“I am excited about taking on the role permanently and am looking forward to the challenges ahead for our strong print and web products in North Devon.”
Managing Director of Cornwall and Devon Media, Mark Sainsbury said: “Whilst I am sorry Chloe is not returning to the North Devon Journal I am very pleased that Lisa has accepted the Editors role. Lisa has proved in the very short time at the Journal she has the passion, vision and expertise to really develop the title both in print and online.”
Chloe Hubbard, former Editor of the North Devon Journal who had been seconded to the transformation team is leaving to join MailOnline on 3 October 2013.
Chloe said: “I thoroughly enjoyed my year-long stint as Editor and will be sad to leave the amazing team there behind.”
