As well as the day-to-day management of the sales team, Nicole will drive advertising sales across all brands by maximising cross selling opportunities, managing agency and direct-client relationships, and exploring and building new initiatives for all sales platforms including newspapers, magazines, online, iPad and mobile devices.
Nicole joined News UK Commercial in 2008 working as Trade Head at The Irish News of the World, and later progressed to Sales Manager at The Irish Sun in 2010.
Nicole takes on her new role following the appointment of Karen Sinclair as Head of Advertising Sales at News UK’s Glasgow office in June. Karen joined News UK Commercial as Head of Property, before being promoted to Head of Display in 2010. David Monaghan, Head of Advertising at News UK’s Dublin office, sits alongside Nicole and Karen as head of his respective region having led the advertising sales team in Ireland for six years.
