News UK purchases UEFA rights

In a three-year deal starting from the 2015/16 season, readers of The Sun, Times and Sunday Times will be able to watch clips of highlights from all 146 UEFA Champions League and all 205 UEFA Europa League competition matches.

These rights include the cup finals and the UEFA Super Cup played between the respective winners of each competition and cover both the UK and Ireland.

Readers who subscribe to selected digital packages of our titles are already viewing clips from this season’s 380 Barclays Premier League matches on their smart phones, tablets and PCs. And from 27 November they will also be able to view goals and other key moments from the Scottish Premiership as well as some Glasgow Rangers matches Then, starting in 2014, in a four-year deal with the Football Association, all the best action from FA Cup matches and England friendlies will be available on their digital devices.
