olive celebrates 10th anniversary

olive magazine celebrates its 10th anniversary with a special November issue.

The November issue, on sale now priced at £3.80, has a front cover blazoned with olive’s cake of the decade, a triple chocolate caramel cake with exquisite flavour combinations. Inside there are a series of ‘top ten’ features to celebrate 10 years of recipes. These include an analysis of how the UK food scene has changed since olive hit the shelves, olive’s 10 most imaginative recipes and 10 top restaurants offering the chance to win dinner for two. The magazine is cover mounted with a 2014 recipe calendar as well as offering an exclusive subscription offer for the title’s 10th birthday, just £20 for 12 issues.

The monthly food magazine has linked up with Loch Fyne to offer readers 20% off at their restaurants. The restaurant and oyster bar even serving a special celebratory dish at each of their restaurants. According to Christine Hayes, Editor of olive magazine for its 10 years since launch: “olive is a firmly established fixture within the modern British dining scene, the stylish and knowledgeable friend to food fans across the country. With our intelligent but accessible approach, we have always shaped the magazine around the needs of our readers and have been at the forefront of identifying new trends.”

Alongside the bumper issue the food title has launched a new blog called: lulusnotes.com, from deputy editor Lulu Grimes, to coincide with the special birthday issue. Also inside the issue some of the nation’s chefs talk about what olive means to them.
