According to the Press Distribution Forum, retailers attending the Roundtable will have the opportunity to take part in high level discussions on (i) looking to the future, and how retailers can get the best delivery/service for their store, (ii) the supply chain and how it works, and (iii) the biggest challenges faced by retailers, wholesalers and publishers in respect of supply of newspapers and magazines. A networking lunch and tour of the printing plant will also take place on the day.
John Howard, Chairman of the Roundtable discussion said “The PDF looks forward to welcoming retailers to the Roundtable discussion in May, and their input will highlight the areas that publishers and wholesalers need to focus on in order to ensure an effective supply chain, and continued accountability of service.”
