Relaunch of Victorian Dolls’ House Collector

The popular weekly partwork, Victorian Dolls’ House Collector, from RBA Coleccionables, relaunched on 29 August.

According to distributors COMAG: Only launched last spring, Victorian Dolls’ House Collector has been so successful that the publisher is keen to capitalise on the continued interest in all things history-related by relaunching the collection for people who missed it first time around.

Featuring exquisite furniture and accessories with every issue, Victorian Dolls’ House Collector will be packed with information about Victorian dolls’ house styles and fashions.

As well as detailing the layout and descriptions of rooms from some of the most beautiful dolls’ houses, Victorian Dolls’ House Collector gives a weekly profile of some of the typical characters who would have lived in such mansions, both upstairs and downstairs.

In addition to the houses and interiors, Victorian Dolls’ House Collector will also feature aspects of Victorian life, explore leisure activities such as letter writing, gardening, horse riding and laundry, complete with step-by-step guides to creating your own furniture.

Regular features will include looking at a particular room from a house, giving details on its use as well as the type of furniture that would have filled it and how it would have been decorated.

While the dolls' house itself will not be provided as part of the title, regular readers of Victorian Dolls’ House Collector will be able to collect vouchers that will enable them to purchase the dolls’ house at a vastly reduced rate.

Issue No.1 is on sale 29/08/12 at the introductory price of £0.99.

Issue No.2 will be on sale 12/09/12 priced £3.99.

Issue No.3 will be on sale 19/09/12 at the regular price of £6.99.
