Rhapsody Ltd has appointed digital marketing and media consultant John Rahim into the newly created role of Head of Digital.

John Rahim’s appointment continues Rhapsody’s expansion in developing cross-publishing solutions utilising their Emagine Production System. John (pictured) will be responsible for devising and implementing digital strategies across Rhapsody's client base, and overseeing the digital output of the company.

John Rahim’s career spans 17 years in the digital arena working with design, technology and branding agencies helping brands to develop integrated digital and multi-channel strategies. Previously John has worked at Fitch, Altogether/WCRS, Harvest Digital and Modem Media and has worked with Apple, Penguin Books, Conde Nast Publishing and various Governmental departments. Prior to joining Rhapsody John was working within the retail design sector developing mobile, in-store, and multichannel solutions for many of the UK’s leading retailers.

John Rahim said: “The way we consume media has changed beyond all recognition and publishers and brands are still questioning how best to integrate print, digital, and mobile content to ensure consistent user experiences irrespective of the medium or format. Rhapsody has built a robust and future-proof platform in Emagine to enable publishers and brands achieve this. I am looking forward to working with Rhapsody’s customers to create more engaging digital editions, which take greater advantage of the opportunities to increase sales and advertising revenues from all forms of digital media.”
