Stuff Malaysia launches iPad edition

Following the success of the Stuff UK’s fully-interactive iPad edition, which clocked-up over 100,000 downloads within four months of its launch in April, Haymarket has announced the launch of the first licensed edition of the interactive version in Malaysia.

The new app is available on Apple Newsstand and is published by Kuala Lumpur-based Catcha Publishing, the existing print edition licensee of the English language Stuff Malaysia magazine and simplified Chinese language sister title, Electronic Lifestyle.

Powered by Stuff, the interactive edition carries all the same content as the print edition along with extra content, video, images and interactivity.

Tze-Khay Voon, general manager of Catcha Publishing said: “The launch of Stuff on the iPad is another milestone achieved for the brand. The consumption of information has diversified over the years, and by having Stuff presented across print, web, social media and now, iPad, consumers will get a much more enhanced experience when engaging with the brand.”

He added: “The Stuff UK team has been very supportive which made it easier for us to launch the interactive edition. We look forward to our next project with Stuff UK and to further cementing Stuff as the No.1 gadget magazine in Malaysia.”
