According to the Sun: The Sun Online will be easier to navigate with more amazing pictorial content and better tools for readers to interact and share the paper’s award-winning articles.
It will continue to offer all the hard-hitting news, juicy celebrity gossip and amazing real-life stories found in the printed edition along with additional content such as exclusive video footage for free. Changes to the site come as the paper works to further its position as the Original Social Media.
Not only does The Sun have more readers than any other UK newspaper it also dominates social media. Sun Online receives 25m unique users per month, there are around 465,000 Twitter followers, 1,000,000 fans on Facebook and 1.2m Dream Team members. It has also been voted the number one newspaper by social media and digital analytics company Socialbakers.
