Suzanne Imre appointed Editor of InStyle

Fashion and beauty title InStyle has announced the appointment of Suzanne Imre as its editor.

Suzanne (pictured) joins the brand from sister IPC Southbank title Livingetc, where she has been editor since 2002, leading the title to become Britain's best-selling modern homes magazine and an influential global brand, says IPC Media. Prior to joining IPC Southbank, Suzanne was editor of Real Homes Magazine and has also worked for Australian Elle and Vogue Entertaining.

Rita Lewis, publishing director, InStyle says: “Suzanne is a highly accomplished editor who has achieved fantastic success on one of the UK's most iconic homes titles. She is energetic, creative and a brilliant leader who I know will bring an exciting, fresh perspective to InStyle. I am thrilled that she will be joining the team.”

Suzanne Imre says: “I'm delighted to be joining InStyle. I remember the US edition launching in 1994 and begging anyone travelling to America to bring a copy back for me, and so I was thrilled when the title launched in the UK a few years later. Since then, I have been a loyal reader and so to now be part of the team is a dream come true. I have had an amazing time on Livingetc and hope to bring the same energy, direction and passion to InStyle."

Suzanne takes up her position with immediate effect and replaces Eilidh MacAskill. Livingetc’s deputy editor, Neil McLennan, will take up the role of acting editor of Livingetc in the interim.
