Telegraph partners with Vodafone in new price plan

Telegraph Media Group (TMG) has partnered with Vodafone UK to launch a unique price plan that includes an iPad with a data plan and a digital subscription to the Telegraph.

The price plan is the first of its kind in the UK, says the Telegraph, and offers customers an iPad, 2GB internet access as well as a daily digital subscription to the Telegraph, all for a monthly fee of £35.

The Telegraph digital subscription offers readers in-depth content with video, picture galleries, interactive crosswords and Sudoku, plus Matt and Alex cartoons. Subscribers also have access to The Telegraph Subscriber app giving them instant access to various offers and rewards across the UK and Ireland.

The partnership will be supported with a multi-media campaign across all platforms, including online and print, from August. The campaign will run throughout autumn.

Graham Horner, Marketing Director, TMG, said: “Vodafone has a track record of innovation with the Telegraph, including the first cover wrap of our newspaper in October last year. Our partnership on this tariff is a prime example of how we are now innovating to acquire new subscribers for our digital products.”
