UsVsTh3m hits 7 million

UsVsTh3m hit seven million monthly unique users in November.

Trinity Mirror says: The digital humour and entertainment publishing brand was launched in May and reached its first million users in September. Since then it has grown by 600%.

Of the seven million unique users to visit in November, 57% accessed the site from mobiles or tablets and 43% from desktops. 70% of visits were from the UK. The average time on the site was 6 minutes. Just 2% of the traffic came from search engines.

The biggest traffic driver in November was the Northometer - so far more than 3.8 million people have played the game and at one point 20,000 people were playing at the same time.

Malcolm Coles, Digital Product Developer at Trinity Mirror said: “This is an amazing achievement by the team to have grown so quickly in such a short space of time and shows the importance of experimentation for publishers. Our next experiment, Ampp3d, producing socially shareable data journalism launches shortly."
