Women’s Health searches for ‘The Body 2014’

British women can now prove themselves the next big thing in fitness as Women’s Health launches The Body 2014, its first ever nationwide search for a new magazine cover star.

From all corners of the country, Women’s Health is calling for the UK’s fittest women to step forward and prove they’ve got what it takes. She will need to be fit, confident and in superb physical shape, but her personality and drive to maintain a healthy lifestyle are equally important as her aesthetic talents, say the publishers.

Up for grabs will be the chance to grace the Women’s Health cover and appear in three separate fitness shoots for the magazine. In addition, the winner will receive a year’s supply of Protein World whey protein powder.

Any woman in the country can nominate herself, or be nominated by friends or family, for the title of Women’s Health The Body 2014.

A panel of Women’s Health experts including Olympic Champion Cyclist Victoria Pendleton, Dancer and Women’s Health cover star Kimberly Wyatt, Fitness Model Nathalie Schyllert and Women’s Health Editor Farrah Storr will sift through the nominees to decide on the finalists and overall winner.

All finalists will be invited to an exclusive dinner hosted by Women’s Health in London where they will meet the judges and one lucky winner will be crowned The Body 2014.

Women’s Health Editor Farrah Storr says, “As the country’s fastest growing women’s lifestyle magazine we’re delighted to be launching our first ever search The Body 2014. We’re looking for an inspirational reader who embodies the look and spirit of the magazine and as winner she will become a Women’s Health ambassador, helping to spread the word about body confidence and inspiring and motivating women across the country to get fitter, stronger and healthier.”

In addition to submitting three recent full-length colour photos that clearly show their body, entrants will need to explain in no more than 250 words why they deserve to win, how they stay in shape and their attitude towards health.
