Using image recognition app Blippar, readers can model the necklace themselves by “blipping” the picture of the necklace in the September issue of ‘You & Your Wedding’ and uploading it with a picture of themselves to share with friends.
Once they’ve download the Blippar app, readers can use their smart phone or tablet to activate other interactive extras in the magazine. These include bringing the Gemy Couture dress wearing cover bride to life by holding their device over the image or witness real couples saying “I do” in the Real Weddings section.
The September issue of ‘You & Your Wedding’ also features another UK bridal magazine first - a four-legged cover star, Darcy the dog. In keeping with the amazing fine jewellery feature in this month’s issue, Darcy also posed with some bling for the special shoot.
