303 eager guests representing the breadth of newspaper and magazine publishing, distribution and retailing were entertained by five piece London band “Flood the Floor” who across two punchy, energetic sets ensured the party went with a unique vibe, says ACE. Host Dominic Holland kept the audience in stitches from the moment he appeared on the stage with his, at times cuttingly irreverent, observational clarity and humour.
ACE General Manager Mark Farris said: “we introduced an online only submission process for this year and feedback so far has been that entrants found it easy to use and our judging panels remarked that the uniformity of the entry layout allowed for a more accurate and balanced judging process.”
ACE always welcomes feedback from the industry regarding the Press Awards. Chair Tom Rodger said: “ACE remain committed to offering award categories that accurately reflect and reward the efforts of the many talented individuals who do so much to enliven the printed media marketplace.”
