AOP B2B Summit

The AOP is holding its second annual B2B summit in London on March 12 and is repeating last year’s offer to bring a client or agency guest for free.

Speakers at the digital media event of 2013 are coming from global leaders Caterpillar, HSBC, Microsoft, Siemens and the Publicis Groupe to share their experiences and insight with an audience made up of the top decision makers in European digital publishing, says AOP.

Key topics include how social media and digital publishing fits into B2B marketing models today, as well as what the future will look like, lead generation, best practice for content marketing, paid content models, tablet strategy and how data analytics are evolving.

Phil Clark, digital and audience director of UBM and chair of the AOP B2B Committee, says: “The programme reflects the big issues facing the digital B2B publishing community and promises to provide much food for thought. Anyone attending will come away better prepared to grow their business in 2013.”

Marco Bertozzi, executive managing director, EMEA, of Publicis Groupe company VivaKi, will debate the future of B2B media and marketing with B2B media guru Stuart Giddings of Carat Enterprise, the world’s leading B2B media network, and Tim Potter from Centaur. VivaKi favour buying audience share via data, convinced technology is the most efficient way ahead. Tim Potter and Stuart Giddings, along with many other publishers, favour the more traditional content centred approach.

Breakout sessions allow delegates to tailor the day to their interests and the free guest offer means media delegates can use the event to cement a relationship with a favoured contact.

The summit at etc Venues, 200 Aldersgate, right on the edge of the City, not only offers up to the minute insight and commentary on crucial B2B marketing questions but also plenty of opportunity to network with coffee sessions, lunch and evening cocktails included, says AOP.

An early bird discount is available until the end of January.

John Barnes, chairman of AOP, says: “Thanks to the feedback from last year’s delegates and the digital industry’s unstinting support, the AOP B2B Media & Marketing Summit 2013 promises to be even better than last year’s inaugural event. We look forward to seeing you there.”
