BBC Easy Cook celebrates 10th birthday

BBC Easy Cook celebrates its 10th birthday in the May issue.

Immediate Media says: The magazine has 114 recipes in the issue and is filled with the fantastic quick, easy and good value recipes that have commanded such an impressive audience over the past decade.

In this month’s issue the team looks back at some of the team’s favourite recipes – with the main meals we all cook over and over again, our most-loved puds and our best-ever bakes. Inside there is a Mary Berry 3-course menu for friends for under £5 each and a series of recipes from favourite TV cooks including James Martin. Plus there is a great blind taste test of all the supermarkets’ own brands and a Eurovision special with a Danish pastry recipes for the big night.

According to Sarah Giles, Editor for the past ten years: “It’s hard to believe BBC Easy Cook has been going strong for ten years. It’s a magazine that is in step with the times with people more conscious of budgets and spending but at the same time wanting to eat great tried and tested recipes.”

All BBC Easy Cook’s recipes are tested in the BBC Good Food test kitchen. It is the market leader in the budget cooking sector with a recent Audit Bureau of Circulation (ABC) figure of 44,120. This was +8.45 period on period.
