Boat International is celebrating its 30th birthday with a special bagged issue, with America’s Cup supplement and dual covers.

According to distributors COMAG Specialist: Launched in 1983 and now published in 57 countries around the world, Boat International is the globally-acknowledged authority on the superyacht market.

With unrivalled coverage of power and sail yachting from some the leading yachting journalists and photographers from around the world, Boat International does not only cater to elite yacht owners, but has something for everyone interested in yachting.

Featuring the latest news, interviews, product and event reviews, every issue of Boat International brings readers closer to the world of international yachting.

Having looked back through its archives, Boat International has chosen some of the best articles and photographs from the past 30 years, publishing them in the August issue.

As part of this, the magazine has looked at how superyachts have changed since 1983, investigating the technology and construction methods that have transformed the industry.

Featuring many of the key people, yards, designs and trends, this issue of Boat International has spoken to many yacht owners and industry veterans about what superyachting was like back in 1983 and how it compares to 2013.

Not just a super retrospective issue, the August edition of Boat International will have dual covers and be bagged with a special supplement previewing the 34th America’s Cup, which is taking place in San Francisco this summer.

Also in the August issue, Boat International has an in-depth look at two of the most significant yachts launched in recent years, Quattroelle and Event.

Elsewhere, Boat International recently had lunch with a high-profile European yacht-owner and the interview appears in the super-celebratory, special August issue.
