Conde Nast announces dates for Brides The Show

Brides The Show, the luxury bridal show, and, say the orgnaisers, the first new event addition to the market for a number of years, will be held from 11th – 13th October at Battersea Park, London, Condé Nast announced this week.

Condé Nast says: Brought to you by SME London, the people behind some of the UK’s most exclusive events (London Fashion Weekends, Art13 London, BBC Good Food Show, Destinations) and under the creative control of Condé Nast Brides, Britain’s leading quality bridal magazine, comes an unmissable event for brides-to-be looking for inspiration from the very best in the business.

Brides magazine Editor, Jade Beer comments; “Imagine if you could actually touch the dresses in Brides magazine, feel their luxurious quality and see the craftmanship and care that had gone into the hand-sewn detailing. What if you could sample that incredibly creative cake to ensure it tastes as good as it looks? Smell that blossomy bridal bouquet, and see for yourself how that glimmering statement necklace would look on you?

That is precisely the kind of experience we will deliver with Brides The Show, where every element of your wedding planning will come to life in a way no other wedding show has ever been able to offer, with stand-out features, hands-on live demonstrations and direct access to the magazine’s editors.”

Brides The Show brings together a carefully curated collection of bridal companies and wedding experts. It will also present a range of inspirational and immersive areas for brides-to-be.

The Catwalk is where the fashion-conscious can take their front row seats to see the latest collections from the best international bridal designers – all styled by Brides own fashion director Bryony Toogood. The Imagination Room will allow brides to get crafty with live workshops on everything from bespoke bunting to personalised favours, hosted by the designers and experts themselves. The Beauty Salon will be open for appointments for industry insider advice. Brides can also take their seats at The Sommeliers Table as our experts showcase the finest wines, champagnes and food trends with throughout-the-day tastings and demonstrations.

SME London Ltd’s Managing Director Tim Etchells said; “We are hugely excited about this fantastic event. After considerable planning and development with the authoritative team at Condé Nast Brides, brides-to-be are in for a real treat this October and should already be nudging their fiancés, mothers or bridesmaids to put the date in their diaries and book their tickets in May, when they go on sale – it will be one day out no bride will want to miss when planning their big day.”

Brides should also be getting excited about the exclusive Friday Night First Look, Brides The Show's highly anticipated VIP opening night. It will present a premier evening of entertainment, exclusive first look access and a whole host of VIP extras just for that evening. Although predominantly by invitation only, there will be a strictly limited number of tickets available to purchase too. Further details will be announced soon.
