Customer Direct Awards 2012 – the winners

The PPA celebrated the best in subscriptions, circulation and one-to-one marketing at the Customer Direct Awards 2012 on November 21.

Future Publishing, Immediate Media Co and IPC Media each took home three awards on the night, with IPC Media’s Nina Braham named Customer Direct Marketer of the Year.

Dennis Publishing (pictured) scooped two awards, including Customer Direct Consumer Magazine of the Year for The Week, and the remaining three categories were won by Condé Nast, Reader’s Digest/Vivat Direct and Reed Business Information, which claimed the Customer Direct Business Magazine of the Year for Farmers Weekly.

The ceremony, which took place in the historic surroundings of The Brewery, followed the Customer Direct conference which explored subscriptions from both a strategic and practitioner perspective.

Nicola Rowe, Director of Circulation and Member Services at the PPA, said: “The Customer Direct Awards are a fantastic showcase for the skills and talent within UK publishing’s subscription marketing teams.

“Consumers today interact with magazine brands across an expanding range of platforms, and this year’s impressive list of winners are grasping the exciting new opportunities presented by this change.”
